About

This club is somewhat different. While there are lots and lots of clubs for heroes and clubs for villains, this is something special. It grew out of a question: "Why aren't there any clubs for heroes...who become villains?"

This late-night musing became this club. So, this club is basically where you, the artist or writer, can envision your favorite good-guy characters turning to the dark side. Because being good never got anybody anything anyway.

Besides, the good side? So overrated. The Dark Side has cookies, better fashion sense and a way better health plan.

Rules...

1) Respect your fellow members and the admin (~DJ-Skylark)

1b) Don't steal art. Or you'll be kicked out immediately.

2) You have to like the idea of good guys going bad. That's what the club is for.

3) Couples, whether het, yaoi, or yuri, are allowed, provided that you don't do anything that gets this club banned. (That means no hardcore porno. Sorry guys.)

3b) Crossovers are welcome. Better yet, they're encouraged!

3c) Bashing is uncool. Please don't do it. That falls under #1: Respect.

4) Have fun and enjoy yourself!

To join::

1a) Note the club or me, ~DJ-Skylark, preferrably the latter, with the subject, "I wanna join!" or something like that.

or...

1b) Leave a comment on the club's front page. I'll actually try to read them. When and if it gets to the point where I can't, stick to sending notes.

2) Stick the club's avatar (which we lack right now) on your journal.

3) Add the club to your devwatch.

4) Voila! You're a member now!

To become an affiliate

Follow most of the steps above, except the subject can be, "I want to be an affilliate!" or something to that effect.

So what can I send?

Fanart, fanfiction, anything... Just send a note to the club with the subject, "I have (fanart or fanfiction, or both) for you!", and I'll add it to the "Club Fanworks" section.

For contests, basically the same thing, but note the club saying, "I have stuff for the contest!" or something like that.

Contest info

And now, the very first contest of the club!

The first contest is a contest in two parts! Since the club is new, and we have members now (), I would like to run a contest. The club needs an ID and an icon, and I was thinking that our members can try to make an icon, an ID, or both...

Some guidelines:

1) Since our club is dinky, members can submit up to three IDs and five icons.
2) Remember the theme of the club, yo!
3) The contest starts today and ends October 8th.
4) Remember, kids, have fun!

All submissions are to be sent by note to me, ~DJ-Skylark.
